SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST - PRN (As needed)

About the Role
Join Lakeview Specialty Hosp as a Speech Language Pathologist – PRN, $87K-$96K/year in United States. Coordinates evaluating, diagnosing, and treating cognitive/communicative skills, swallowing efficiency, and appropriate screenings. As an active member of the interdisciplinary team creates, maintains, and supports the care plan formulated to meet each individual patient’s needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Provides comprehensive evaluations of patients per physician order.
- Provides individual and/or group therapy as indicated per plan of care and program guidelines.
- Provides consultation as necessary to create a thorough understanding of Speech
- Language Pathology and promote carryover and generalization of acquired skills. Involves treatment team members as indicated / necessary.
Requirements
- Skill, Knowledge and Abilities:
- Knowledge of brain injury, neuropsychological, and cognitive/communicative deficits and how to treat and evaluate and how to conduct Speech
- Language Pathology.
- Physically, mentally, emotionally, and legally capable of fulfilling all job requirements.
