Join Opelousas General Health System as a Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner - Orthopaedic Spine in United States. We are looking for a dedicated Orthopedic Physician's Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our OGH healthcare team. The Orthopedic P.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and create personalized treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons and other medical professionals to provide comprehensive care.
  • Perform joint injections and other orthopedic procedures as required.
  • Provide education and counseling to patients and their families on preventative care, medical conditions, and physical therapy practices.

Requirements

  • Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) license and board certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician's Assistant License
  • Specialty certification in Orthopedics preferred.
  • Proven experience in orthopedic nursing or related field.
  • Knowledge of musculoskeletal conditions and treatments, and orthopedic surgical procedures.

Work Schedule

  • Full-time position.
