About the Role

Join Cedars-Sinai as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) - Neuro ICU - Full Time - 10hr Days in United States. The Cedars-Sinai Neuroscience Critical Care Unit (Neuro-ICU) is a specialized, 24-bed facility within the Saperstein building. Our team treats critically ill neurological patients with conditions such as stroke, brain injury, seizures, and hemorrhage.

Key Responsibilities

  • Nursing Process: Responsible for the application and supervision of the nursing process, including clinical practice, research involvement, consultative services, and patient care management.
  • Collaboration and Leadership: Incorporate independent decision
  • making and collaboration with physicians to deliver expert care. Provide leadership in patient management across the healthcare continuum.
  • Diagnostic and Therapeutic Procedures: Perform appropriate procedures such as venipuncture, arterial puncture, lumbar puncture, and more, following standardized protocols. Document results and follow

Requirements

Candidates must hold a Master of Nursing degree and be a graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program. Required certifications include a current California RN license, Nurse Practitioner and Furnishing license, national NP certification, and a current DEA license.
