About the Role

Join Adelphi Staffing as a Substitute School Social Worker – M-F, Contract in United States.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct Functional Assessments incorporating multiple data sources, including formal and informal observation of behaviors that interfere with learning.
  • Develop Behavior Support Plans based on positive behavioral supports, utilizing ethical, proactive, and person
  • centered approaches.
  • Develop methods to track the effectiveness of behavior support plans through behavioral data analysis and revise plans as needed.

Requirements

  • Valid Michigan LMSW license with full or temporary School Social Work approval
  • Experience conducting Functional Assessments and developing Behavior Intervention/Support Plans
  • Knowledge of community resources for individuals with developmental challenges
  • Ability to assess barriers to student progress and apply effective interventions
