Key Responsibilities
- Informatics Pharmacist Specialist works in the build, implementation, and maintenance of automation and technology to optimize pharmacy practice, pharmacy systems, and the medication‐use process.
- Supports the pharmacy team as the resource for requests related to EMR and pharmacy system changes and additions.
- Provides EMR‐related staff education/training and assist with precepting of pharmacy residents.
Requirements
- EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING Required qualifications: Current state Registered Pharmacist License required.
- in Pharmacy or PharmD degree required.
- At least two years of hospital pharmacy experience required (exceptional aptitude or knowledge may be considered in lieu of experience).
- At least two years of pharmacy informatics, pharmacy automation, pharmacy computer system applications, and/or information technology experience required.
