Key Responsibilities
- Administer screening and assessment tools and diagnose substance use disorders when within scope of licensure.
- Provide individual and group substance use disorder counseling services and participate in multidisciplinary treatment planning.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to evaluate, treat, and support individuals with SUD.
- Complete accurate, timely documentation, collect and analyze service data, and assist with reports for contracts, grants, or accreditation.
Requirements
- & Requirements Education Master’s degree in social work from an accredited college or university.
- Experience Experience providing SUD counseling required.
- Experience in supervisory role preferred.
- Licenses/Certifications Licensure or certification to practice independently as required by state in which employed.
