This position qualifies for federal student loan forgiveness. After 10 years of qualifying payments while working full-time for a nonprofit employer, the remaining balance on your Direct Loans may be forgiven.
About the Role
Provide intermittent coverage as a Geriatrician at the Lyons VA Community Living Center. Coverage includes weeknights, weekend nights, weekend days, and federal holidays.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage admissions and readmissions.
- Perform medical exams, order medications, and manage dietary needs.
- Follow up on sick veterans and labs.
- Oversee transfers requiring hospital treatment.
Requirements
- Medical degree and licensure.
