About the Role

Join YMCA of The Inland Northwest as a Camp Reed Substitute Counselor in United States.

Key Responsibilities

and responsibilities, evening activities and transition times.

Set and implement standards for harmonious group life; create a motivating environment encouraging camper safety and cleanliness in the cabin and on camp grounds.

Identify and respond accordingly to camper behavior issues, applying age-appropriate strategies as needed.

Take cabin leadership at mealtimes to ensure appropriate manners and nutrition.

Requirements

Minimum age of 18 by June 15th of the Camp Season.

Current Driver’s license and YMCA acceptable driving record required for some positions.

Lifeguard certification or ropes course training preferred

Completion of YMCA required trainings upon hire

Salary: $80/day

Work Schedule

Full-time position.

Night or evening shifts may be required.
