About the Role
Join Tarzana Treatment Centers, Inc as a Psych Nurse Practitioner in United States. Position Title: Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Department: Youth Services Reports To: Clinical Director POSITION SUMMARY Provides psychiatric services to patients facility-wide, as directed by the Clinical Director. HOURS Based on need/10 to 20 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Participates in the formulation and update of policies, procedures, and protocols for the NP role in collaboration with the Clinical Director and Psychiatrist.
- Documents in the client’s record goals, interventions, and clinical outcomes, in sufficient detail that any psychiatrist can review and evaluate the effectiveness of the care being provided.
- Consults with staff to make referrals to other mental health or health care providers as needed.
Requirements
- masters specialty certificate in psych/mental health nursing.
- Completion of a State of California Board of Registered Nursing approved pharmacology course and minimum of 520 hours of psychiatrist
- supervised experience in furnishing drugs and/or devices in not less than 6 months and not more than 12 months. LICENSES AND CERTIFICATION
- An active California Board of Registered Nursing (BRN) license as a Registered Nurse (RN)

- Hourly rate: $86.52/hr.
