About the Role

Join Urgent Care Physicians of New Jersey LLC as a Full-Time Family Nurse Practitioner - Totowa, NJ Urgent Care in United States. Description *

Shortened weekend hours! Mon-Fri 8am-8pm, Sat-Sun 8am-4pm.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide and manage direct patient care, including physical examinations and the counseling of patients towards compliance with treatment
  • Order diagnostic tests, such as x
  • rays, electrocardiograms, and laboratory tests, and interpret results accordingly
  • Perform therapeutic procedures such as incision and drainage, splinting, suturing, infection management and wound care

Requirements

  • License (unrestricted and in good standing) as a registered professional nurse in the State of New Jersey
  • Certified by the New Jersey, Board of Nursing as an advanced practice nurse. Family Nurse Practitioner certification
  • Controlled dangerous substance registration with the State of New Jersey
  • Registration with the Drug Enforcement Administration of the U. S. Department of Justice
