About the Role

Join Ardent Health Services as a Full Time Emergency General Surgery Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in United States. Lovelace Medical Group is searching for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant at their Emergency General Surgery team in beautiful Albuquerque, New Mexico. This position requires fifteen 12-hour shifts per month 7am-7pm, assigned based on surgeons' requests.

Key Responsibilities

The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant will be responsible for providing emergency room and inpatient surgical consults, first assisting in the operating room, and rounding on inpatient surgical patients. They will also follow up with post-operative patients in an outpatient clinic setting.

Requirements

Candidates should have experience in general surgery, although it is preferred rather than required. The position requires flexibility to work a combination of day, weekend, and holiday shifts.
