About the Role

Join Chenega Corporation as a Speech Therapist – M-F 8-5, Full-Time in United States. Summary Come join a company that strives for Extraordinary People and Exceptional Performance! Chenega Government Mission Solutions, LLC, a Chenega Professional Services’ company, is looking for a Speech Therapist in support of the Lawton Indian Hospital to provide speech therapy services.

Key Responsibilities

Assess and diagnose: Conduct screenings and evaluations to identify disorders such as articulation problems, aphasia, stuttering, and swallowing difficulties (dysphagia).

Develop treatment plans: Create and carry out personalized therapy plans with specific, measurable goals to address individual functional needs.

Provide therapy: Teach clients how to make sounds, improve voice quality, maintain fluency, and develop communication strategies.

This includes using augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems for those with severe challenges.

Requirements

language pathology from a program accredited by the Council on Academic Accreditation in Audiology and Speech

Language Pathology (CAA). Completed a clinical fellowship. Passed the Praxis exam Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech

Language Pathology (CCC

SLP) certification.
