About the Role

Chenega Government Mission Solutions, LLC, a Chenega Professional Services’ company, is looking for a Speech Therapist in support of the Lawton Indian Hospital to provide speech therapy services.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and diagnose: Conduct screenings and evaluations to identify disorders such as articulation problems, aphasia, stuttering, and swallowing difficulties (dysphagia).
- Develop treatment plans: Create and carry out personalized therapy plans with specific, measurable goals to address individual functional needs.
- Provide therapy: Teach clients how to make sounds, improve voice quality, maintain fluency, and develop communication strategies.
- This includes using augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems for those with severe challenges.
Requirements
- language pathology from a program accredited by the Council on Academic Accreditation in Audiology and Speech
- Language Pathology (CAA). Completed a clinical fellowship. Passed the Praxis exam Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech
- Language Pathology (CCC
- SLP) certification.
