Key Responsibilities

  • must sign up for 2 weekend days per quarter on call (submit 4 dates you are available and then you are scheduled for 2 of those dates) Weekend on call is from 8 am - 10 am for new stroke evals that have failed a nursing swallow screen, discharge pending patients, and newly extubated patient.
  • Will Do · Performs age-appropriate patient assessment and establishes plan of care.

Requirements

Requires a Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology or equivalent and a valid Texas Speech Language Pathology license. Candidates must have experience with the adult population in an acute care hospital setting and hold a current BCLS certification.
