About the Role

Join FCC Behavioral Health as a Mental Health Therapist – Dunklin/Pemiscot County in United States. Job Purpose: The Mental Health Therapist is responsible for providing quality individual/group therapy to person(s)-served of the center in a timely and responsible manner. Qualifications: * Master’s Degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related Field.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conducts individual, family, and group therapy sessions with assigned person (s) – served and/or the person (s)
  • served family.
  • Maintains a working knowledge of all civil involuntary detention procedures.
  • Conducts initial assessments to determine appropriate level of care

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related Field.
  • Must have all necessary course work and meet all the requirements to be licensed within the State of Missouri, at a minimum be eligible to begin supervision.
  • Must meet the Department of Mental Health’s Criteria for Qualified Mental Health Professional. Core Job Duties:
  • Conducts individual, family, and group therapy sessions with assigned person (s) – served and/or the person (s)
