Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Eligible

This position qualifies for federal student loan forgiveness. After 10 years of qualifying payments while working full-time for a nonprofit employer, the remaining balance on your Direct Loans may be forgiven.

Key Responsibilities

  • Performs diagnostic examinations, court order evaluations and affidavits, prescribes medications, and monitors care and progress of patients toward treatment and recovery goals.
  • Conducts psychiatric evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment of seriously mentally ill patients committed to ASH.
  • Provides leadership for a multidisciplinary treatment team and oversees the work of the team in developing and implementing a plan of care.
  • Works with other professionals in the recovery model including nurses, social workers, psychologists, rehabilitation staff, physicians, nurse practitioners, physician's assistants.

Requirements

  • Must possess a medical license to practice in the State of Arizona.
  • Must possess a valid level one fingerprint clearance card issued pursuant to A. R. S.41
  • 1758.07 or must apply for a level one fingerprint clearance card within seven working days after beginning employment. Driving is required for State Business.
  • Employees who drive on state business require possession of and the ability to retain a current, valid state
