Key Responsibilities

• Consult and work with the patient's attending physician.

• Assure compliance with local, state, and federal laws, Medicare regulations, and HIPAA.

• Accountable for direction and oversight of the care and treatment of palliative and hospice patients.

• Implement the plan of care to meet the patient’s medical needs, assess and reevaluate the patient’s medical needs on a regular basis, and manage related expenditures in a fiscally responsible manner.

Requirements

• call RNs and support staff to ensure coordinated care Confer with medical directors or physicians as needed Complete medical record reviews for quality assurance functions as appropriate.

Benefits & Compensation

• Salary: $50-$50 / hr

Work Schedule

• Full-time position.

• Call responsibilities required.
