This position qualifies for federal student loan forgiveness. After 10 years of qualifying payments while working full-time for a nonprofit employer, the remaining balance on your Direct Loans may be forgiven.

We have an opportunity for a Registered Clinical Dietitian to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) Perform comprehensive, individualized nutrition assessments using the Nutrition Care Process, according to the Standards of Practice in Nutrition Care for RDN’s.

Implement the Nutrition Care Process to ensure individual health/nutritional goals are established, monitored and achieved.

Recommend/prescribe nutrition-related diets, diet modifications, nutrition support regimens for clients as directed within the organizational/state regulations.

Provide developmentally appropriate nutrition counseling and education to clients and their families.

Requirements

Requires a bachelor's degree, Registered Dietitian status, and licensure in the State of Iowa. Must have three years of healthcare experience as an RD, specifically including pediatric experience.
