About the Role

Join Didi Hirsch Mental Health Services as a Therapist II – $71K-$82K, $5K Bonus, Hybrid in United States. Therapist II, Disaster Care (Olympic Suicide Prevention Counseling Center) This is a hybrid position based in Century City, CA The pay range for this role is between $71,494 - $82,219 annually. $5,000 sign-on bonus for external candidates.

Key Responsibilities

Provides intake assessment, individual therapy, group therapy, brief counseling interventions, and crisis interventions to children, adults, and families impacted by disasters.

Provides support groups, community debriefings, and community trainings relating to disaster mental health and related topics, dependent on community needs.

Independently performs intake assessments and formulates diagnoses and case conceptualization using a culturally competent approach.

Demonstrates collaborative approach within a multidisciplinary team and external systems in coordinating and providing care to clients.

Requirements

Must be registered with BBS or Board of Psychology.

Expected to have or receive LPS certification (within 1 year of start date) to perform psychiatric holds for clients who are gravely disabled, and/or exhibiting a danger to self or others.

Current knowledge of all job specific skills including crisis intervention and individual/family therapy, multicultural and socio

economic issues, and documentation standards.
