About the Role
Join Didi Hirsch Mental Health Services as a Therapist II – $71K-$82K, $5K Bonus, Hybrid in United States. Therapist II, Disaster Care (Olympic Suicide Prevention Counseling Center) This is a hybrid position based in Century City, CA The pay range for this role is between $71,494 - $82,219 annually. $5,000 sign-on bonus for external candidates.
Key Responsibilities
- Provides intake assessment, individual therapy, group therapy, brief counseling interventions, and crisis interventions to children, adults, and families impacted by disasters.
- Provides support groups, community debriefings, and community trainings relating to disaster mental health and related topics, dependent on community needs.
- Independently performs intake assessments and formulates diagnoses and case conceptualization using a culturally competent approach.
- Demonstrates collaborative approach within a multidisciplinary team and external systems in coordinating and providing care to clients.
Requirements
- Must be registered with BBS or Board of Psychology.
- Expected to have or receive LPS certification (within 1 year of start date) to perform psychiatric holds for clients who are gravely disabled, and/or exhibiting a danger to self or others.
- Current knowledge of all job specific skills including crisis intervention and individual/family therapy, multicultural and socio
- economic issues, and documentation standards.
