Respiratory Therapist

About the Role

Richmond University Medical Center seeks Respiratory Therapists to provide cardiopulmonary care under physician supervision. The role includes therapeutic treatments and diagnostic procedures for respiratory diseases.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and treat patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary conditions.
• Perform arterial blood gas analysis, pulmonary function testing, and bronchial hygiene therapy.
• Manage mechanical ventilators and artificial airways.

Requirements

• Graduate of AMA Accredited School for Respiratory Care.
• NYS Respiratory Therapist registration, diploma, and licensure required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; NRP preferred.

Benefits & Compensation

• Salary range: $52.66 to $58.62 per hour.
• Malpractice coverage provided.

Work Schedule

• Night shifts from 7 p. m. to 7:15 a. m.
• Weekend and holiday rotation required.
• 12-hour shifts.
