About the Role

Join UPMC as a Professional Staff Nurse - Post Surgical Unit (Harrisburg Hospital) in United States. AG7 is a 24-bed post-surgical care unit that is dedicated to providing high quality compassionate care to a diverse adult and geriatric patient population. Most patients that are admitted to AG7 are planned elective surgeries.

Requirements

relative to his/her age-specific needs and to provide the care needs as described in the department policy and procedures.

Zero to two years of experience.

Ability to establish and maintain positive, caring relationships with executives, managers, physicians, non-physician providers, ancillary and support staff, other departments, and patients/families.

Ability to work productively and effectively within a complex environment, handle multiple/changing priorities and specialized equipment.

Work Schedule

Full-Time position.

Night or evening shifts may be required.

Flexible scheduling available.
