Requirements

• While not required, a cover letter is highly recommended when applying to this position.
• California Registered Nurse (RN) license, California Nurse Practitioner (NP) license, and Furnishing License Certification.
• BLS/CPR certification at time of hire with commitment to get BART within 6 months of hire date.
• Minimum of one (1) year of licensed NP experience working in Gastroenterology.
• Demonstrated experience working in a clinical research environment. Ability to identify potential clinical trials patients.
• Demonstrated experience providing patient education and counseling and developing and implementing long and short range treatment plans.

• Current UCSD NPIII employees may be hired at the NPIII level pending review and approval by Health Human Resources and the UCSD Advanced Practice Council.

• Annual Full Pay Range: $167,687 - $234,649 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%)

Work Schedule

• 1 Work Schedule:
• Days, 9 Hour Shifts, Monday - Friday
• Some weekend work will be required. Overtime required as needed. No on call work is required
