Key Responsibilities

  • How you’ll be there for students: Use standardized diagnostic tests, observations, and interviews to assess communication disorders, including articulation, fluency, voice, and language.
  • Determine student eligibility for special education services under the "Speech or Language Impairment" category as defined by IDEA.
  • Interprets diagnostic tests, identifies strengths and weaknesses in areas of speech/language skills and generates reports providing feedback to parents and when applicable, school personnel.

Requirements

  • Language Pathology required ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech
  • public school settings across the city of Philadelphia (Elementary and High School) Pay Rate USD $65.00
  • USD $70.00 /Hr.
