About the Role

Join Unknown as a Behavioral Health Tech, Full - Time, Nights in United States. Job Description Be a part of a world-class academic healthcare system at UChicago Medicine Ingalls Memorial Hospital as a Behavioral Health Technician in the Inpatient Psychiatry department. This position is a 100% onsite opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

  • will facilitate educational sessions, structured groups and psycho-educational groups in accordance with the patient's plan of care.
  • will utilize interactive processes, which will exceed the expectation of patients, physicians, families or significant others, and provide high-quality, cost-effective care and treatment.
  • Must have good knowledge of the principles and practice of psychiatric and addiction treatment Completes annual department competency checklist Required Qualifications Active BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) CPI certification required upon hire or within 60 days of hire High School diploma 2 years prior experience working with patients with addiction issues Preferred Qualifications Behavioral Health or related experience providing care to patients within at least the last five years Bachelor’s Degree in Addiction/ Psychology Position Details Job Type/FTE: Full-Time, 0.
