About the Role
Join Hartford HealthCare as a Inpatient Group Therapist in United States. Job Summary: Develops and implements group therapy programming in accordance with the patient’s treatment plan and goals. Works within the Department of Rehabilitation Services to provide direct clinical care to children, adolescents and adults.
Key Responsibilities
- Provides direct patient care using group therapies specific to client’s needs as indicated in the treatment plan.
- Conducts patient assessments and establishes treatment goals.
- Evaluates each patient’s progress and the effectiveness of group therapies interventions.
- Provides patient with information about community resources to support their wellness and recovery.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in the Creative Arts Therapies (music, dance, art, and drama), Occupational, Therapeutic Recreation, or other related human services field.
- Licenses are preferred but not required.
- Minimum 1 year experience working in behavioral health (internships applicable).
Work Schedule
- Full-time position.
