Key Responsibilities

• will be a part of a team providing care and support to patients and their families who no longer receive treatments to cure their terminal illness but instead choose care to improve their comfort and quality of life.

• must be able to work autonomously, handle various patient care scenarios with professionalism, and provide empathetic and compassionate care in emotionally challenging situations.

• provide care at nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and hospitals.

• provide care at one of our Hospice Care Centers.

Requirements

• · Graduate of an accredited school of registered nursing.

• · Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse through the Kentucky Board of Nursing or through a participating Compact State Board of Nursing.

• · Minimum of one (1) year of general nursing experience preferred; new graduate nurses will be considered.

• · Demonstrates strong clinical nursing skills and the ability to maintain professionalism during emotionally challenging situations.

Work Schedule

• Full-time position.

• Call responsibilities required.

• No weekends required.
