About the Role
Join Windsor Essex Community Health Centre as a Primary Health Care Nurse Practitioner in United States. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION The Nurse Practitioner (NP) provides autonomous comprehensive primary care to individuals and families across their lifespan. The focus is on health equity, chronic disease management, prevention and care for the underserved populations.
Key Responsibilities
- centered care aligned with the values of community health and social determinants of health.
- Carry own roster of clients/patients as the primary care provider
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests (labs, imaging)
- Prescribe medications in accordance with provincial guidelines
Requirements
- 2 years’ experience as an Extended Class Nurse Practitioner working with vulnerable clients
- Experience working with mental health and addictions is an asset
- Experience in a community health setting or combination of community health and hospital or public health settings
- Strong attention to patient

- Hourly rate: $72.63/hr.
