Key Responsibilities

Evaluates patients for initiation, change or discharge of plan of care.

Develops and implements treatment plan incorporating treatment methods and goals with patient/caregiver input.

Completes relevant documentation and record keeping of stated services and consultation with other disciplines and services per regulatory guidelines.

Designs, fabricates, fits and educates in the use of assistive devices, special equipment, splints and orthotics.

Requirements

Requirements Education: Bachelor’s Degree from four-year College or University in Occupational Therapy.

X Lifting/Carrying (Patient) Less than 25 lbs.

X Pushing/Pulling 0 – 25 lbs.
