Key Responsibilities

The Physician Associate is responsible for patient care under the supervision of a physician, collaborating with medical teams to perform a broad spectrum of care including critical thinking, diagnosis, and ordering diagnostics and medications. This role involves performing corrective, preventive, and therapeutic measures across inpatient, surgical, and/or outpatient environments.

Requirements

Candidates must graduate from an accredited Physician Assistant Program, with a Master's degree preferred, and must possess current NCCPA Board Certification, New York State Licensure, DEA Licensure, and BLS/ACLS Certifications. A minimum of 0-2 years of experience in the clinical specialty of hire is required, or the candidate can be a new graduate.
