Key Responsibilities

will also work collaboratively with the various components of the ELMHS service The RPN supports, supervises, mentors and coaches the mental health Enrolled Nurses, in delivering support and holistic nursing care to patients and families during crisis and transition periods of their mental illness, considering the persons, physical, psychological, social, spiritual and cultural needs.

provide safe and equitable care, for every stage of life, delivered with world-leading expertise and over 17.

provide more than 250 integrated services for every stage of life at over 50 locations and in the community.

develop your capabilities of working within a diverse Early in Life Mental Health Setting (ELMHS); and exten.

About OASIS The Oasis Child Neuropsychiatry Inpatient Unit (Oasis) is a purpose built unit located in the Monash Children’s Hospital.

All children admitted to the unit are accompanied by parent /carer who remain throughout the admission.

Work Schedule

Full-Time position.

Weekend coverage may be required.

Requirements

Candidates must be Registered Psychiatric Nurses with relevant postgraduate qualifications in mental health and current clinical experience. Flexibility to work a 24/7 rotating roster and strong communication skills for working with families and young people are required.
