About the Role
Join People Encouraging People as a Peer Counselor in United States. People Encouraging People offers quality mobile behavioral health services to people with serious and persistent mental health and substance abuse disorders. We continuously strive to provide these services with integrity, honesty and respect.
Key Responsibilities

- Provide outreach services to clients in the community and coordinate health services between the Agency, com.
- provide highly individualized services in the community and promote self-determination and decision making.
Requirements
- A valid drivers license, clean driving record and means of reliable transportation.
- A lived experience with mental illness, substance abuse, or homelessness
- Must have a Peer Support Certification or be willing to obtain one in an agree upon timeframe if hired.
Benefits & Compensation
- Hourly rate: $21.15/hr.
Work Schedule
- varying shifts schedule.
- Weekend coverage may be required.
