Attending Psychiatrist, Addiction Consult Liaison - Worcester MA

About the Role

UMass Memorial Health seeks an Attending Psychiatrist for Addiction Consultation-Liaison services in Worcester, Massachusetts. This position provides psychiatric consultation to medical-surgical patients and emergency room cases with addiction focus.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric assessments and develop integrated treatment plans.
• Provide medication management, psychotherapy, and crisis intervention.
• Educate medical and nursing staff.
• Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and case conferences.

Requirements

• MD or DO degree.
• Board certified or eligible in Psychiatry.
• Massachusetts medical license.

• Salary range $263,358 - $274,358.
