Key Responsibilities

• according to patients' needs and changing acuity levels.

• Administers and evaluates medication therapies, performs patient transfers, and transports patients via wheelchair, hospital bed, or stretcher to other departments.

• Communication and Documentation: Communicates individualized plan of care and patient's progress toward goals to all members of the care team, including the patient and his/her chosen support system.

• Utilizes appropriate communication tools when communicating within the interdisciplinary team and when handing off patient care.

Requirements

• Education: Associate's Degree/Certificate required.

• Bachelor's Degree preferred.

• Experience: Refer to the Life Support Training Policy for additional details.

• Licensure: Registered by National Board of Respiratory Care and current RCP licensure in applicable state required.
