Key Responsibilities
- Supervision Agreements: Establish and maintain written delegation/supervision agreements with PAs (specifically those with <8,000 hours of clinical practice) as required by A. R. S. § 32
- Clinical Oversight: Review and ensure that health care tasks performed by APPs are within their scope of training and experience.
- Quality Assurance & Chart Review: Conduct regular, structured chart reviews and provide feedback to ensure adherence to NextCare’s clinical protocols and evidence
- based standards.
Requirements
- Education: Graduate of an accredited MD or DO program.
- Licensure: Current, unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Arizona.
- Certification: Board Certification in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Internal Medicine is preferred.
- DEA: Active DEA registration.
