About the Role

Join Freeman Health System as a Registered Nurse - Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner - Emergency Department in United States.

Key Responsibilities

The Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner will provide timely, nonjudgmental, compassionate care to the sexual assault victim.

This will include a forensic exam, disease prophylaxis, photographic documentation, referrals for appropriate medical and psychological follow up, support and participation in legal proceedings.

The SANE is expected to follow protocols established by Freeman Health System and the SANE Committee.

Requirements

A minimum of 2 years nursing experience AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers within 30 days.

Current Missouri Registered Nurse license or current Registered Nurse license from a compact state.

If a compact license is held, it must be in the nurse’s state of residence.
