Key Responsibilities

  • Performs speech pathology services including diagnostic evaluations to determine level of impairment.
  • After administering the appropriate tests and measures, a treatment plan is designed for improved communication and swallowing.
  • Performs direct patient care services including the supervision of support personnel and students.
  • Willingly participates in related activities in support of patient care, education and department operations.

Requirements

Candidates must possess a Master's Degree from an accredited program in speech pathology (or educationally equivalent if foreign trained) and hold a current Indiana State license. A Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA (or eligibility) and Basic Life Support certification through the AHA are also required.
