Key Responsibilities

  • will support the full THR service area on an as needed basis Work hours: PRN (as needed) Community Health Department Highlights · Prevention and early detection programs bringing quality healthcare to underserved populations throughout North Texas · Helping people through wellness checks and chronic disease management · Positively impacting patient quality of life · Gain a sense of accomplishment by contributing in a team environment Here’s What You Need Education Bachelor's Degree Graduate of an accredited nursing program REQUIRED or Master's Degree Graduate of a nurse practitioner program REQUIRED Experience 2 Years Experience as a nurse practitioner in primary care REQUIRED Licenses and Certifications RN - Registered Nurse Upon Hire REQUIRED and APRN - Advanced Practice Nurse Upon Hire REQUIRED and NP - Nurse Practitioner Upon Hire REQUIRED and BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Upon Hire REQUIRED and ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support 90 Days preferred Skills Possesses positive interpersonal skills and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited nursing/nurse practitioner program and have a minimum of two years of experience as a nurse practitioner in primary care. Required certifications include RN, APRN, NP, BCLS upon hire, and ACLS within 90 days.
