Key Responsibilities

  • will work on a rotating roster that provides experience in the NICU, SCN, Postnatal Wards and Outpatient areas Role modelling and staff engagement through ongoing communication within the team About Us Across 4 sites of Monash Health, Monash Newborn provides neonatal services to support over 9,000 births a year and is responsible for the provision of neonatal services for Monash Health within the Monash Children’s Hospital Clayton, Dandenong, Casey and Sandringham campuses, functioning together as a single integrated service with a hierarchy of complexity.
  • will play a pivotal role in Patient and family centred care.
  • provide care across south-eastern metropolitan Melbourne and rural Victoria from over 40 locations; via tele.
  • provide clinical care for infants under the care of Monash Newborn, delivering the highest standard of care.

Requirements

Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in a neonatal unit and hold a postgraduate certificate (or equivalent) in neonatal nursing. Success requires a commitment to undertake the Masters of Advanced Nursing Practice (Nurse Practitioner) in August 2026 or February 2027, along with Australian working rights.
