Key Responsibilities
- Perform admission history and physicals (H&Ps), including health history, current health status, mental status, and physical examination.
- Dictate admission notes, medical notes, and discharge summaries.
- Identify medical and health risk factors and formulate appropriate treatment plans.
- Provide medical care in collaboration with the Medical Director, including admission orders, ongoing medical management, and discharge orders.
Requirements
- Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of Tennessee and/or Florida; DEA licensure required.
- Malpractice insurance certificate required.
- Minimum 2 years of direct medical experience with substance abuse and/or dual diagnosis clients preferred.
- CPR certification required.
