Join Weill Cornell Medical College as a Nurse Practitioner - Movement Disorders in United States. Title: Nurse Practitioner - Movement Disorders Location: Upper East Side Org Unit: Movement Disorders Work Days: Monday-Friday Weekly Hours: 35.00 Exemption Status: Exempt Salary Range: $145,800.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for direct patient care on an outpatient and/or inpatient service.
  • Evaluates new and/or established patients by obtaining comprehensive and focused health histories and performing both limited and complete physical examinations as appropriate.
  • Orders labs, imaging, diagnostic testing, and consultations.
  • Reviews and interprets results to develop patient care plan.

Work Schedule

  • Full-time position.
  • No weekends required.

Requirements

Candidates must possess a Master’s of Science Degree in Nursing and approximately two or more years of clinical experience as an NP, preferably in a related specialty, though new graduates with relevant RN experience may be considered. Required credentials include an NYS Registered Nurse Practitioner license, NYS Registered Professional Nurse license, applicable National Board Certification, current BLS, Infection Control Certificate, and DEA registration.
