About the Role

Washington University in St. Louis is recruiting Acute Care Nurse Practitioners for the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit at Barnes-Jewish Hospital. This full-time role involves managing complex cardiac patients in a fast-paced critical care environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care including assessments and diagnostics.
• Manage acute and complex cardiac conditions.
• Perform critical care ultrasound and invasive procedures.
• Participate in emergency and quality improvement activities.
• Support 24/7 staffing including nights, weekends, holidays, and paid call.

Requirements

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN).
• Certification as Acute Care Nurse Practitioner.
• Licensure in Missouri or ability to obtain.
• ACLS certification within 30 days.
