Requirements
- Discharge Preparation: Instruct patients’ families and nursing staff on maintenance programs and caregiver training to ensure smooth discharge from therapy services.
- Discharge Planning: Participate actively in discharge planning and recommend necessary durable medical equipment (DME) to facilitate patient independence.
- Equipment Maintenance: Report any issues with department equipment to ensure it remains in good working order.
- Positive Interactions: Relate positively, effectively, and appropriately with patients, families, staff, and professional colleagues.
