About the Role
Join PathGroup as a Molecular Pathologist in United States. PathGroup is seeking a Part-Time Molecular Pathologist to join our established, collaborative molecular diagnostics service at our Airpark laboratory in Nashville, TN. This role supports a busy yet sustainable clinical molecular practice in a modern, highly digital environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Tumor Tissue Assessment: Review oncology specimens to assess tumor adequacy and ensure appropriate molecular test selection, supporting high
- quality downstream testing. Tissue assessment typically comprises a significant portion of the morning workflow and includes collaboration with internal and external clinical partners.
- Theranostic IHC Sign
- Out: Participate in a scheduled rotation signing out immunohistochemistry (IHC) studies, including theranostic markers and IHCs associated with established Companion Diagnostic (CDx) indications.
Requirements
- MD or DO from an accredited institution
- AP/CP Board
- Certified or Board
- Molecular Pathology experience required with completion of an ABP molecular genetic pathology fellowship.
Work Schedule
- Part-Time position.
