Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth evaluations of clients' dietary needs by assessing their medical history, activity levels, sleep patterns, and food habits.
- Educate clients on the impact of nutrition on health, providing evidence-based guidance and practical recommendations.
- Design and deliver customized nutrition plans tailored to individual goals, medical conditions, and dietary restrictions.
- Offer ongoing nutrition counseling and behavior-change support to clients to ensure goal attainment and adherence.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or Food Science (Master’s degree is an asset).
- 4+ years of experience in clinical, community, or corporate nutrition settings.
- Full registration with the College of Dietitians of British Columbia (CDBC).
- Specialization in diabetes care and/or clinical weight loss management is considered an asset.
