About the Role

Creates therapy programs for patients based on the instructions of physicians and assessment findings.

Performs diagnostic tests such as measuring lung capacity, takes blood samples and uses a blood gas analyzer to test oxygen and carbon dioxide levels.

Requirements

Required qualifications include an Associate degree from a CAAHEP-accredited Respiratory Therapist Educational Program and current state licensure. Candidates must be a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or obtain registration within 60 days of hire, along with a valid BLS certification.
