Join Heartland Family Service as a Therapist II - Iowa Mental Health Crisis Response Team (On Call Daytime) in United States.

Key Responsibilities

• Determines client needs and makes recommendations and referrals to appropriate level of care. Assessments are provided on

• site where the crisis is occurring.

• Conducts a crisis focused assessment and documentation to be completed within 24 hours of crisis call.

• Establishes an intervention plan, with client and law enforcement participation, which specifies immediate treatment needs and follow

Requirements

• Educational requirements are very specific.

• Decision making, problem solving and highly developed interpersonal skills are critical.

• This position will work within a team environment.

• The individual will have the ability to sign up for weekday evening/overnights or weekends according to their availability.

Benefits & Compensation

• Master’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work, or Marriage & Family Therapy

• 2 years or more experience

• Iowa licensed required

• LMHP or LIMHP required (provisional will be considered)

Work Schedule

• Full-time position.

• Call responsibilities required.

• Night or evening shifts may be required.
