About the Role

The Oregon Health Authority seeks Unit Nurse Managers for the Salem Campus of Oregon State Hospital. Manage nursing care personnel and oversee patient care on psychiatric wards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing staff and manage patient care 24/7.
• Handle hiring, disciplinary actions, evaluations, and grievance resolutions.
• Provide nursing input to interdisciplinary treatment teams.
• Facilitate communication and problem-solving.

Requirements

• Valid Oregon RN license.
• Minimum three years nursing experience including supervisory or teaching roles.
• Knowledge of psychiatric nursing techniques and supervisory practices.

Benefits & Compensation

• Salary range: $8,920 - $13,148 per month ($107,040 - $157,776 annually).
• COLA adjustment effective Feb 1, 2026.

Work Schedule

• Full-time.
• 24/7 coverage with weekend requirements.
• Call required.
• No remote work.
