About the Role

Join Pennant Group as a Occupational Therapist (OT) - Home Health - Walnut Creek, CA in United States. This is a home health role and will require the occupational therapist to work in the field visiting patients in the community. Key Responsibilities

• AND RESPSONSIBILITY Provides patient, caregiver, and family counseling.

• Provides patient and caregiver education.

• Communicates with the physician who is responsible for the home health plan of care and other health care practitioners (as appropriate) related to the current home health plan of care.

• Evaluates patient’s functional status (muscle function, endurance, visual coordination, written and verbal communication skills, self-care ability, work capacity, etc.

Requirements

• Valid CA OT License Possesses and maintains current CPR certification.

• Muir Home Health is a joint venture between John Muir Health and Cornerstone Group which has about 75 home health and hospice agencies throughout the country.

• While we are part of a large family, we operate as a local team.

Benefits & Compensation

• Salary: $65 - $80/hr
