Physical Therapist Assistant Part-Time

Key Responsibilities

The Physical Therapist Assistant assists the Physical Therapist by providing direct patient care according to physician orders and established treatment plans, which includes treating patients as directed and recording daily and weekly progress notes. Essential duties also involve maintaining therapy areas, participating in care conferences, and educating residents and families on maintenance programs for discharge preparation.

Requirements

Candidates must be graduates of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program and hold a current, active PTA license in the state, maintaining it in good standing. Experience in a skilled nursing facility and proficiency with EMR systems like Casamba and PointClickCare are preferred but not required.
