About the Role

Join UChicago Medicine as a Advanced Practice Provider, Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant - MICU, Nocturnist in United States.

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct management of critically ill patients in the MICU * Perform admissions, daily management, and.

Provide continuous 24/7 coverage for an additional MICU service * Function with a mix of autonomy and collab.

manage ICU-level consults for oncology patients * Partner with oncology and ICU teams for escalation and co.

Provide comprehensive care to patients in the Medical Intensive Care Unit or inpatient units cared for by th.

Requirements

Advanced degree (or equivalent, if license received prior to July 1, 2001) from an accredited school/college of nursing required.

Ability to obtain Illinois advanced practice nurse (APN) license by start date required.

Current license as a Registered Nurse required.

AANC certification as an ACNP and/or ANP

Work Schedule

Full-time position.

Night or evening shifts may be required.
