About the Role

Join UChicago Medicine as a Advanced Practice Provider, Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant - MICU, Nocturnist in United States.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct management of critically ill patients in the MICU * Perform admissions, daily management, and.
  • Provide continuous 24/7 coverage for an additional MICU service * Function with a mix of autonomy and collab.
  • manage ICU-level consults for oncology patients * Partner with oncology and ICU teams for escalation and co.
  • Provide comprehensive care to patients in the Medical Intensive Care Unit or inpatient units cared for by th.

Requirements

  • Advanced degree (or equivalent, if license received prior to July 1, 2001) from an accredited school/college of nursing required.
  • Ability to obtain Illinois advanced practice nurse (APN) license by start date required.
  • Current license as a Registered Nurse required.
  • AANC certification as an ACNP and/or ANP

Work Schedule

  • Full-time position.
  • Night or evening shifts may be required.
