Join Day Kimball Healthcare as a Respiratory Therapist, 24 hour, Evenings, Putnam, CT in United States. Day Kimball Health is hiring for a part-time Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our Respiratory department in Putnam, CT! Hours: 24 hours per week Shift: Evenings, 3:00 p.

Key Responsibilities

• Performs, but is not limited to, all the following respiratory procedures: aerosol therapy, ABG’s, oxygen therapy, ventilator care, overnight oximetry, resuscitations; adult and neonatal.

• Clinical assessment on all patients on respiratory services with appropriate recommendations to attending or ordering physicians.

• Actively participates in department inservice educational programs.

• Flexible and willing to rotate shifts or work odd schedules as needed.

Requirements

• Current AHA Healthcare Provider CPR certification or equivalent within 3 months of hire required.

• Currently licensed in the state of Connecticut required.

• Certificate of Respiratory Therapy required, Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by NBRC preferred. RRT Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• An active member in good standing with the AARC.
